Sugar: "Sugar suppresses the immune system by causing the pancreas to secrete abnormally large quantities of insulin, which is required to break it down. Insulin remains in circulation in the bloodstream long after sugar has been metabolized, and one of its main side effects is to suppress the release of growth hormone in the pituitary gland."
This is not the first time I've posted an article about sugar. Sugar, truth be told is truly destroying the world as we know it. There are forms of sugar that are natural, that do add great flavor to foods, however, ingesting refined sugar (white table sugar or any of its cousins) can be very bad for your entire immune system. If folks were not making money off of this product, they too would be placing articles like this. Just my opinion.
